Aegis is a small but dedicated team of professionals working together to provide high quality, specialized psychological and educational services to the people of southern Vancouver Island. Therapy sessions vary in length according to the number of people participating. A "clinical" hour is 50 minutes long. This allows the therapist time to make notes in your file or to make telephone calls on your behalf. These activities usually take place at the end of a session, but may also occur at the beginning, delaying the start of a session for up to 10 minutes.

A one-page consultation note to your referring family physician, and other relevant professionals is offered on a complimentary basis. Client are entitled to a copy of all corespondence written on their behalf, and are encouraged to review the correspondence before it leaves the office.
