The Aegis Touch

1. A staff person is available to answer the phone, and provide immediate help.

2. Messages that are left after-hours are returned in a timely way, usually the next business day.

3. 20-minute, complimentary information sessions with Dr. Cook are provided to help prospective clients make an informed choice about the therapist they wish to see.

4. Dr. Cook engages in monthly quality assurance meetings with other psychologists where he is able to consult, with client consent, about ways of improving services to his clients.

5. The clinical staff at Aegis specialize in the services they provide, so that clients always receive the most highly qualified help available for their particular need.

 

6. Consultation notes are routinely written (with the client's consent) to keep physicians informed.

7. Computerized file management and security systems are used to safeguard against loss or theft of client information.

8. The personal safety and convenience of clients have been considered in the location and design of the office building - the approach via private laneway, and ample free parking.

9. The client's comfort level is addressed by providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere (aesthetically pleasing office space, friendly staff) within a professional setting.
